How do I hide the YouTube controls and title in Google Slides?

Google Slides has no setting for it — the Format options panel only lets you trim, autoplay or mute a video. Install the free TrueSlides Pro Chrome extension and start your slideshow: the YouTube title, play button, control bar and suggested videos are hidden automatically on every video in the deck.

How do I stop suggested videos showing at the end of a YouTube video in Google Slides?

TrueSlides Pro pauses every video on its final frame, so YouTube never gets to show its end screen of recommended videos. Press the arrow key and your slide advances as normal.

Why do YouTube videos look blurry in Google Slides?

Embedded YouTube videos often start at a low quality and take a while to step up. TrueSlides Pro locks every video to the highest quality your connection allows, so there are no 360p surprises on the projector.

Does it work with Google Drive videos in Google Slides as well as YouTube?

Yes. Both YouTube videos and Google Drive videos in your slides play clean automatically when you present, with the player controls hidden.

Will it mess with my deck while I’m editing?
